Employee is killed when struck in head by falling pallet

At 9:45 p.m. on September 16, 2018, an employee was opening the rear swinging doors of an enclosed semi-trailer. As the employee swung the door open, a freight skid that had been standing upright tilted out of the trailer and struck him in the head. The employee was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was admitted and died 11 days later.
