Employee sustains multiple injuries while operating conveyor

On August 28, 2018, an employee was checking that cans on a conveyor remained upright while it was in motion and amputated his left hand's thumb when it was caught in the conveyor belt. The employee also fractured his right arm as well and was hospitalized.
