Investigation Summary
At 7:15 a.m. on August 15, 2018, an employee was cutting contaminated cotton excess from Tenter #1 with a knife while the machine was moving at a pace of 20 yards per second. The employee was holding the cotton roller with one hand and the knife with the second when his left hand was sucked into the roller and degloved his middle finger. Hospitalization was not required.
