Investigation Summary
At 10:45 a.m. on July 30, 2018, Employee #1, a security installation technician, was working from an 8-foot stepladder and installing interior alarm strobes throughout a building being converted to medical offices. He was working with both hands overhead and leaning backward to install electrical boxes when he lost balance, fell a height of 3 to 4 feet, and struck his head on the concrete floor. Emergency services transported the employee to the hospital, where he was admitted and treated for traumatic brain injury.
