Investigation Summary
At 2:15 p.m. on May 9, 2018, an employee was cleaning the bathroom in one of the hotel rooms and struck something several times with her mop. The employee picked up the object which turned out to be a hypodermic needle. In picking it up, the employee pricked her finger with the end of the needle and started to bleed. The employee was wearing gloves. The employee went to US Health Work, where they treated her. Hospitalization was not required.
