Investigation Summary
At 9:00 a.m. on April 23, 2018, an employee in a metal fabrication facility including delivery of the fabricated goods. The injured employee was a truck driver making a delivery with a long flat bed trailer connected to a truck cab. The employee was stepping down off of a flatbed trailer in the loading area behind the building when his foot became caught under the overhanging load and he lost his balance, falling approximately 56 inches to the ground below. The employee sustained a fractured pelvis and fractured wrist.
