Investigation Summary

At 12:10 p.m. on June 11, 2018, an employee was walking through a trade show with two co-workers, viewing office furniture exhibits. One of the exhibits had a set of three swings for display that trade show attendees could sit on. As the victim went to sit on one of the swings, her hands were holding some items such as a cellular phone, a bag, and her purse. She lost her balance and fell backwards, striking her head on the tiled floor. The co-workers helped the employee up. A few minutes later, the co-workers noticed swelling on the left side of her head. The employee died on the way to the hospital.
