Investigation Summary
At 9:00 p.m. on May 15, 2018, an employee had picked up a hopper that was full of trash and was carrying it outside to empty it when the hopper shifted as he tried to gain leverage. The employee caught his left middle finger on the hopper's blade and amputated a small portion of the finger. Hospitalization was not required.
