Employee sustains amputation of toes in tire curing press

At 12:30 a.m. on May 1, 2018, an employee was blowing out water in a mold of a tire curing press. The employee was standing in the unguarded mold when he hit the arm raise switch. The bladder came down on the employee's left foot, resulting in the amputation of four toes on the left foot.
