Employee amputates finger in labeling machine

At 10:00 a.m. on May 2, 2018, Employee#1 was operating the half gallon line in the bagging area. The employee reached into the half gallon rear labeling machine to adjust a band that was displaced. He made contact with the chains and sprocket within the machine, and sustained an amputation of his right middle finger.
