Investigation Summary
At 11:15 a.m. on April 2, 2018, an employee was working for a firm that processed meat from carcasses. He was working on equipment that mixed meat. Some product had become stuck in the propeller of the machine. He was removing debris, when he sustained fractures and severe lacerations to the index, middle and ring fingers of his right hand. He was not hospitalized.
