Investigation Summary
At 12:55 a.m. on February 15, 2018, an employee was unjamming the Master Roll Winder Machine located in the production room. The employee's hand was caught between the running components (rollers) of the Master Roll Winder Machine when he attempted to unjam stuck product. The employee degloved his right hand thumb, and sustained crushing injuries to his right hand. His thumb had to be amputated upon admission at hospital.
