Employee strikes hand against table saw blade and amputates

At 7:45 a.m. on April 15, 2018, an employee was profiling door skins with a table saw and, when distracted by a coworker, struck his hand with the saw's blade. The employee lacerated the palm of his hand and amputated two fingers from his hand. The employee was hospitalized.
