Employee is struck by moving blade and amputates three finge

At 6:30 p.m. on March 23, 2018, an employee was assisting a coworker with clearing a jam when the coworker reversed the blade direction on the airlock. The employee had placed his hand into the output feeder and was struck by the blade. The employee amputated three fingers from his left hand and was transported to Harbor UCLA for medical treatment. The employee was hospitalized.
