Employee catches finger between cam shaft and part and amput

At 2:00 p.m. on March 23, 2018, an employee was operating a mechanical power press that used two handed controls. The employee entered the die area after an up cycle of the press and caught one of his fingers between a cam shaft and part. The employee amputated a fingertip and was hospitalized.
