Employee falls from forklift and fractures ankle

At 9:00 a.m. on March 1, 2018, an employee was inspecting and lubricating the lifting chains on a forklift carriage. The employee lost his balance, slipped and fell approximately 6 feet to a lower level. The employee suffered a compound fracture to his left ankle and was hospitalized.
