Employee Catches Thumb Between Two Heavy Metal Rings And Amp

At 7:10 p.m. on November 17, 2017, an employee was forging some metals and was u sing an overhead crane to move three heavy rings, weighing approximately 463 lbs each. As the employee picked the rings up, they started to swing and bounce a gainst one another. The employee's thumb was struck by the rings and the employ ee was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center where surgery was performed on his thumb. The employee was hospitalized.
