Investigation Summary
At 11:00 a.m. on February 25, 2018, Employee #1, an Associate Faculty member at a junior college, was using an eight foot stepladder, adjusting the lighting for her art students. As the employee climbed down the ladder, she lost her balance on the third rung from the bottom, and fell three feet. Employee #1 suffered a fractured left femur for which she was hospitalized and treated with surgery.
