Investigation Summary
At 4:00 p.m. on February 19, 2018, an employee was standing on a loading dock while waiting to park his truck at a meat packing plant. While waiting, the employee was struck by a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado that was backing into the loading dock. The employee fell and struck his head on concrete, suffering blunt force trauma to his head that lead to a concussion. As a result, the employee was killed.
