Investigation Summary
At 10:30 a.m. on December 4, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a plastering company, was working from a scaffold and plastering the exterior walls at a multiemployer construction project, a five-story building. At lunchtime he began to climb down the scaffold ladder from the building's third floor level. He had some wet cement plaster on his gloves and boots, and he slipped and fell, a fall height of approximately 15 feet. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for a fractured collarbone, a fractured spine, and injuries to three ribs.
