Employee falls through floor opening and injures spine and h

At 1:00 p.m. on December 1, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a construction company, was sheathing the second floor of a residential structure that was being constructed. He fell through a floor opening where the staircase was to be built and fell to the concrete surface, a fall height of approximately 10 feet. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital, admitted, and treated for spinal injuries and a head laceration.
