Investigation Summary
At 9:30 a.m. on November 30, 2017, an employee was working for a community college. He was operating a table saw. He was ripping a board with the table saw. The board kicked back. This action caused three of his fingers to make contact with the saw blade. The employee's fingers were lacerated. He also sustained the partial amputation of his middle finger. He was not hospitalized.
