Investigation Summary
At 8:55 a.m. on January 15, 2018, an employee was adjusting a box of produce on his pallet jack from an order he had just filled before moving to the rear of the jack. The employee was struck by a second pallet jack driven by a coworker and he was pinned against his machine. The employee suffered multiple injuries, including a broken right tibula and a laceration to his foot. Two plates were installed during surgery. The employee was hospitalized.
