Employee's finger is amputated while working on radial saw

At 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2018, an employee was cleaning the dust catcher for a radial saw using a wooden stick. The employee did not turn the saw off and had his left pinky drawn into the blade when the wooden stick was pulled into it, amputating his small finger at the first knuckle. The employee was hospitalized.
