Employee is trapped by fire and is killed

At 10:00 a.m. on December 14, 2017, an employee was working as part of team of fire fighters and was engaged in the placement of a hose-lay and suppressing spot fires. The employee became trapped by the fire when it jumped across the dozer line. The employee suffered fatal burns when the fire became out of control.
