Investigation Summary
At 12:01 p.m. on December 29, 2017, an employee was taking a break in his car. The employee was to return back to work at 12:15 p.m. and did not return. The crew boss went to check on the employee and found him in his car somewhat conscious but unresponsive. The employee was taken to the hospital by family members where he later died. Medical personnel related that the incident was not heat-related.
