Employee strikes fingers against table saw blade; partially

At 10:00 a.m. on December 7, 2017, an employee was cutting wood on a Craftsman table saw to make a stool. The employee struck his fingers on the saw blade when a piece of wood kicked back. He partially amputated his index finger and lacerated the four remaining ones. Hospitalization was not required.
