Investigation Summary
At 10:30 a.m. on December 5, 2017, an employee was rip cutting maple wood boards using a Tannerwitz table saw Model #J250, Serial #8078. The employee was struck in the abdomen when one of the boards kicked back while being cut. The employee was taken to the hospital where he was underwent surgery for blunt force trauma to his abdomen. The employee died a few hours later.
