Employee falls 30 feet from a tree when a branch snapped

At 4:00 p.m. on October 4, 2017, an employee climbed a tree to begin trimming excess limbs. The employee was trimming limbs 30 feet above compacted ground when a limb he was working with snapped, causing him to fall. The employee fractured his pelvis and two ribs. He also received a laceration to the head.
