Investigation Summary
At 2:00 p.m. on October 24, 2017, an employee was engaged in installing trusses and was using a utility belt, including hammer and other tools. The employee was engaged in loading the piles of trusses on the roof of the home. The employee was placing 2 by 4's on each side of the pile of trusses set on the roof. The pile of trusses started to come apart and the employee tried to hold them in place with hands while near the edge of the roof. The load was to heavy, knocking the employee off the roof. The employee fell approximately 9 feet 9 inches to the dirt ground. The employee had four broken ribs.
