Investigation Summary
At 4:00 p.m. on August 8, 2017, an employee was cleaning a Sollich Minitemper Turbo TFD100, a chocolate temper blender. The employee reached into the temper tank to wipe chocolate off tank wall while stirrer blades were still operating. The employee amputated the fingertip of left index finger but was not hospitalized.
