Investigation Summary
At 2:30 a.m. on October 23, 2017, a security officer was smoking at entrance of the facility just outside the entry gate. A tractor trailer pulled up on the road and the security officer stepped out to speak to the driver. An SUV going the other way struck the security officer and was killed. The security officer was not wearing a high-visibility reflective clothing.
