Employee injured in a trench cave-in

While attempting to locate a water leak, Employee #1 and coworker dug around a fire hydrant. They created a 32-ft-long trench that was 7-ft-deep. When the leak was discovered Employee #1 and his coworker went into trench. Later an operator yelled for them to get out. Employee #1 sustained a fracture when the trench caved-in. He was not hospitalized.
