Employee Caught And Killed By Closing Nose Landing Gear Door

At 1:30 pm. on October 17, 2017, Employee #1 was working for an express delivery service. He was working on an aircraft. There were mechanical issues with the n ose landing gear. The employee was performing maintenance on the nose landing ge ar, when the right landing gear door automatically closed. The employee was caug ht between the landing gear door and the drag brace. He sustained injuries to th e upper part of his body and his torso. He was killed.
