Employee is struck by construction pig and incurs fractures

At 10:00 a.m. on October 9, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a construction company, was inserting a construction pig into a pipe. The pig blew out from the pipe and struck Employee #1. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for fractured vertebrae and a fractured cheekbone.
