Employee injured when struck by falling mass of dirt

Employee #1 was bending over a sewer pipe that was being installed in a trench. A large clump of dirt rolled down the sloped edge of the excavation and hit the trench box. A portion then broke off and fell into the trench, striking Employee #1. He sustained an injury to his right hip.
