Employee falls from a ladder while trimming tree branches an

At 10:15 a.m. on September 23, 2017, Employee #1 was using an extension ladder to trim a tree branch that was hanging over the end zone of the football field. He placed the ladder three rungs above the tree branch to be trimmed, approximately 12 feet from the ground. The ground was damp under the tree, which caused the ladder to slip backwards, and the employee fell to the ground. The fall was unwitnessed. Employee #1 was treated and admitted to a nearby hospital for a fractured femur.
