Investigation Summary
Employee #1, of Tai Pan Trading International, Inc., was cutting tree limbs to length on a table saw when a limb jammed in the saw. He attempted to remove the limb without turning off the saw. When the employee lifted the guard, the limb jerked and pushed his right index finger into the saw, amputating it between the first and second knuckles.
