Employee injured in fall when struck by bridge crane

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 18, 1998, Employee #1, a maintenance worker, was cleaning the magnet at the end of an elevated sand slinger arm. He was standing on the arm's tubular structure when he was knocked down by a passing bridge crane and fell about 11 ft to the concrete floor. He sustained a fractured skull and multiple contusions.
