Employee fractures leg when struck by large piece of tooling

At 3:20 a.m. on August 23, 2017, Employee #1 was standing next to a 4,000 pound hammer. A large piece of the tooling used with the hammer was ejected, striking the employee in the leg. The employee's leg was fractured and he required surgery and hospitalization.
