Investigation Summary
At 11:00 p.m. on September 14, 2017, an employee was working near Column B17 of a manufacturing plant and was cutting some aluminum material with a Rigid Dual Bevel miter saw. As the employee was cutting, the miter saw kicked back and hit his left pinky, causing a partial amputation. The employee was treated a San Jose Regional Medical Facility and was hospitalized.
