An employee amputated the tip of their right ringer finger

At 2:30 p.m. on August 30, 2018, an employee was preparing to cut 200 lbs of onions. The employee was waiting for the Urschel Model H dicer to be washed. A coworker was washing the dicer with water as the machine was running. The machine unexpectedly turned off and the employee reached into the machine to turn it back on. The employee's tip of the right ring finger was amputated when the dicer started.
