Event: 09/02/1997
Employee's knee injured by running engine parts

At approximately 8:25 a.m. on September 2, 1997, Employee #1, of the California State Department of Forestry, in San Luis Obispo, CA, was putting water into the radiator of a GMC diesel truck, model 7000. This required climbing onto the truck because the hood flipped forward and the radiator cap was approximately 6 ft high.
