Employee Is Injured in Fall from Scaffold Ladder

On June 8, 2009, an employee was performing his normally assigned duties as an electrical worker. He was on a metal scaffold to take measurements on the ceiling for the installation of a light fixture. The employee stated that as he was climbing down the scaffold ladder, he slipped and fell about 10 feet to the ground below. The employee was taken to California Hospital Medical Center, where he was hospitalized for five days with a fractured wrist.
