Employee fractures foot in fall into excavation

On February 1, 2008, Employee #1, a foreman with EIE Electric, was jumping over a 30 ft long by 4 ft wide ditch when he lost his footing and slipped into the excavation. He suffered a fracture to his left foot, for which he was hospitalized for seven days.
