Employee is injured inr fall from ladder

At approximately 11:18 a.m. on September 28, 2004, an employee was in the back yard using an extension ladder to wash and prepare a wall section for painting. The employee was working on the extension ladder elevated approximately 10 feet from the ground. The wall section being prepared for painting was located approximately 11 ft from the ground. A coworker heard the employee make strange, singing noises and upon turning around found he had fallen to the ground. According to the coworker, the extension ladder the employee used did not move from its place after he fell. The employee was hospitalized in excess of 24 hours at Cedars Sanai Medical Center for injuries from the fall.
