Employee Is Injured in Fall from Second Floor

On May 31, 2007, an employee while engaged in framing on the first story of a multi-story apartment building fell to the ground. The first story of the apartment was over 1-level of parking and was less than 15-feet above the grade at the time of the incident. The employee was transported by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The employee suffered a contusion to his face, neck and scalp and a sprained neck. He was provided a hard-neck support and released. He was allowed to return to modified duty on June 8, 2007.
