Investigation Summary
At 1:00 p.m. on June 8, 2007, Employee #1 was carrying a small box of electrical materials about 10 ft from the yard to a storage area. As he was walking, he apparently stepped on a 2 ft long by 1 to 1.5 in. diameter metal conduit. He slipped and fell onto the concrete pavement, fracturing his left femur. Employee #1 was transported to Cedars Sinai Hospital, where he was treated for four days. There were no eyewitnesses to the accident.
