Employee injured by fallen car

On November 19, 2001, Employee #1 was employed by Don Pearson Enterprises. At the time of the injury Employee #1 was in the yard area where draining of salvage vehicle fluids (gas, transmission, hydraulic, oil) were performed. Employee #1 was injured when the salvage vehicle, a 1979 Camaro, which was lifted by the forks of an industrial truck driven by a coworker, fell on Employee #1 while he was underneath draining oil. Employee #1 suffered a serious t-fracture injury to the twelth vertebrae. Employee #1 was hospitalized for 3 days.
