Employee fell from ladder

At around 8:30 a.m. on December 17, 2001, a tractor trailer driver sustained a serious head injury when he fell 9.5 ft from an extended ladder. The ladder had been set up improperly. When the employee leaned forward to put the last part on the shelf, the ladder slipped and he fell to the ground. The employee was transported to St Johns Hospital and later to Pleasant Valley for long term care.
